Whats my number?

I've been hearing a lot about a website called Whats My Number. From the sound of the adverts it was a website which asks you a predefined set of questions and based on your answer tells you how much money you could be saving a year on energy.

I checked the website out at http://www.whatsmynumber.org.nz/MyHome and found that the way in which it calculates how much money one can save on energy encourages users of the website to switch to more economical both finically and environmentally power companies if they get a high total. For example when I entered in my answers to the questions it came back as saying I could save $0 a year because I was already being super economical and with the cheapest and friendliest power company and in the way I was heating my house. In contrast to this I entered in a set of fake details specifically trying to get a high total I could save. I recieved a total of $106 with these details. The website then gives you a link to further pages where users can do research into how they can save power.

I think this website is extremely usefull as it allows people to see if they are doing enough for the energy crisis and gives them options and solutions as to how they can fix this. It also lets people save money, and everyone is up for that.
