After I constructed the concept wheel I thought that having the axis to spin the wheel in the centre would be distracting. I had to think of a way to enable to wheel to spin freely and to enable the user to have unobstructed vision. To solve this problem I built a prototype which would sit in tracks and would be weighted in some places removing these problems. This is the prototype I developed.
